I cannot wait until I return for at least the tenth time to this special place. The basic but perfectly clean and functional studios are situated in a beautiful location away from the main road but within easy walking distance of the beach, supermarkets and tavernas. The studios are owned and run by Dimitris and his father, Nikos, and mother, Katerina. They welcome me back every year and make me feel like part of their family. The rooms are impeccibley cleaned by Cat who is a British woman who moved to Skiathos several years ago (she occasionally has help from her husband Ray!!) There is a weekly event where Katerina and Nikos serve up wonderful Greek dishes and Dimitris appears as Elvis. Many people go back every year so that is true testimony to this place. However some people pay for a budget holiday and expect a five star hotel. Having been to many five star hotels, I would choose to go to Dimitris's Studios over any of them.

What a fantastic holiday, we had a great time staying at Jimmy's, in sep/oct. everyone was so nice and made us feel at home from the very moment we got there. Thanks to Nico,Katarina and Dimitri for making our holiday so special and one we will never forget, we hope to come back in the near future. We met some great people there too, so thanks to them too for making our holiday probably the best one yet!! Bob and Maria from up north!!

These are family run studios conveniently situated just back from the main road (so nice and quiet) but only a few minutes walk from many lovely local Tavernas, the bus stop and the lovely beach of Agia Preskevi/Platanias. The studios are set in lovely grounds with a nice pool area with loungers, seating areas and umbrella's. The family are very friendly and hospitable making everyone welcome and Dimitri also hosts the well stocked and friendly bar next to the pool which is a nice place to have a drink and a chat at the beginning or end of your evening or for a light lunchtime snack. Only slight downside is the rooms do vary quite a bit in size and quality and therfore room allocation is a bit down to luck. Many visitors return so quite a few 'regulars'. We would definetely consider returning but request which rooms we would prefer.
Room Tip: In our opinion the twin rooms were better appointed than the doubles (bit small).

The good accommodation good value for money. the owners are very kind helpful and generous,the costumers all friendly!!!You feel like you are with your family!!!! many people have been here before and come year after year and I think we will be joining them again next year......it was the best holiday we have had for many years
